Tinsay Aims for Zero Corruption

Senatorial bet Alex Tinsay (Bangon Pilipinas) said yesterday he aims for “zero corruption” if elected in public office.
Tinsay, a Born-Again Christian pastor, said in the wake of reports that some government offices and officials are riddled with corruption there should be change in the system.
“I have a strong desire to bring a breath of fresh air to the current political system. We are bound by values of respect, responsibility and ethics,” Tinsay said.
“We in Bangon Pilipinas wish to fight against the undercurrent of cynicism and indifference affecting our democratic system. We invite the all citizens to unite their voices with us, so that governance will be managed in the common interest,” Tinsay said.
“The show of force is a clear statement of Filipinos who are tired of traditional politics. I challenge every Filipino who loves God and country to remember our history. We are a nation of heroes. Let us become heroes again. The answer to the nation’s woes is in your hands,” he said.
Tinsay was born on September 17, 1958 in Bacolod City , Negros Occidental and now resides in Quezon City with his wife Judy and five children.
A scholar all throughout his education, he took up AB English in San Sebastian College-Recoletos, where he later on achieved an award for success in his career.
As a journalist, he has interviewed influential people in and out of the government, been assigned to Malacanang beats where he has covered 4 Philippine presidents namely President Aquino, President Ramos, President Estrada, and President Arroyo, and established his credibility in delivering truth to the masses.
He is a seasoned TV Broadcaster of GMA 7 and straight-to-the-point commentator of Bisig Bayan Opinions and editorials in GMA Balita. He was one of the producers and anchors of Streetwatch 117, the first anti-crime segment on Philippine television.
He has received recognition for excellence in broadcast journalism, including a Gintong Anak Award for Journalism.
Recently, he made appearances hosting The 700 Club Asia, a God-centered television show. In addition, he is actively involved with the Christ Reachout Ministries’ urban poor program.
He is the head pastor of the 19-year-old church which has daughter churches in Novaliches, Quezon City , Antique, andPangasinan. Being a broadcast journalist for three decades and God’s servant ministering for several years, Alex Tinsay is now running for senator to serve the Philippine nation.
He is part of the senatorial slate of Bangon Pilipinas under the leadership of Bro. Eddie Villanueva and VP Candidate Perfecto Yasay. Each member of the party represents a sector in society.
